The inclusive local DC-MD-VA Athletes Without Limits Rowing program we helped manage from 2010-2022 has grown and expanded its scope and is now a separate organization focused on equity and inclusion called Unity Boat Club. You can find information on Unity Boat Club or other local teams in your area by searching US Rowing’s Directory of registered rowing clubs.
Athletes Without Limits National Teams:
Athletes Without Limits is a National organization that organizes “all-star” style US National Rowing Teams competing in rowing and other sports at Virtus International Competitions for US rowers with Intellectual Impairment seeking opportunities to compete Internationally. 2022 AWL DC ROWING CALENDAR
AWL DC Rowing programs will be closely following COVID-19 safety guidelines implemented by the Anacostia Community Boathouse (ACBA) and DC Strokes developed in consultation with ACBA members, guidance from USRowing, the DC Harbor Patrol, and the orders from Mayor Bowser and other DC officials.
